Deadpool 2

Deadpool 2, still irreverent, iconoclastic, as far as sequels go, it's not the usual milk the franchise effort. There were jibs, there were jabs, as well as a smattering of action, mostly towards the earlier part of the first half of the movie.

But it is still far from perfect, especially when compared to the first movie which had more whimsy, more meaty narrative and plot of substance. Marvel seems to have gone soggy sandwich syndrome when it comes to some jokes and especially when it comes to character grit and attitude reversal - almost like whatever trials and tribulations that usually, irrevocably, alters a persona is magically nullified transforming a stoic and battle hardened demeanor and to an amicable ally.

But Deadpool being Deadpool still punches leagues above the weak showing of Thor Ragnarok both in terms of comedy and story. It's still a decent watch for Deadpool fans and non fans alike, with the introduction of Cable, old regulars and a motley crew. Oh and the title is something of a gem and stick around for the end credit scenes.

Adobe Premiere .mov import error

Here's a quick solution for Adobe Premiere not being able to import .MOV files. I thought this was just an inherent shortcoming in Premiere because I did have this problem previously, but then completely forgotten about it. It wasn't until I reformatted my machine, reinstalled everything that it came back again. Fortunately, I'd just just recently shot and edited footage from my camera which ONLY has mov files which was then I realised that something it might be coded related. Check out the video to find the solution.
