There was a smidgen of being able to relate to the protagonist when it seemed that it was more than just another indiscernible equine. But these moments were sparse and very few. Otherwise most of the characters in the movie are unremarkable in breadth or import. The storyline is set around the course of world war one and it could've carried well set against this historic backdrop. However, very little was alluded to this aspect as the storyline traipsed around with seeming impunity to history or noteworthy incidents. The incidents along the movie were untenable at best and borderline ludicrous at others.
A watered down animal war story, I give this one a wholehearted neigh.
